OUR SPECIALTIES

Authentic Moroccan spices, herbs and natural products

From ras el hanout and saffron to amlou, argan oil and dried rose buds, every product on our shelves is selected for quality and freshness. Here are the questions we hear most.

It’s a traditional Moroccan blend of many spices, often including cumin, coriander, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger and rose buds. The name means “head of the shop”, and every herbalist has their own recipe, which is why it’s worth buying from someone you trust. Use it in tagines, couscous and grilled meat.

Real saffron has deep red threads and releases its golden color slowly in warm water. If the color bleeds instantly or the threads fall apart, it may be dyed or fake. We’re happy to show you the difference in the shop.

OUR STORY

From the Moroccan souk to your kitchen

Spices have shaped Moroccan cooking for centuries. We carry on that tradition by choosing our products with care, storing them properly and sharing what we know about each one.

Every visit is a chance to learn something new, whether it’s how to brew herbs for mint tea, how to cook with rose buds or how to pick the right spice for your tagine.
